Cam cleanup - 13th April 2013 at 10:00am
Call for volunteers to give our much-loved river a helping hand. Choose a site: Sheep's Green (near Mill Pond), Midsummer Common (near the Fort St George) and Stourbridge Common. Staff placed on each site will provide a briefing on the event, and will hand out work gloves, litter pickers and litter bags. Last year more than 100 volunteers turned out for the event, filling many bags of rubbish.

It is that time of year again, our day out at Cambridge United Football Club. Come joint the fun watching Cambridge United v Chester. Vouchers available for Abbey Residents, entitles holder to two adults for 5 each and 2 under 16's free, or 1 adult 5 and three under 16's free. Vouchers need to be redeemed at Cambridge United Box Office before mid-day on Saturday 19th April.

Join us for an experiment using digital technology to share creative pieces including poems and films co-created by students of Abbey Meadows School. The free drop in event runs from 5pm to 7pm. No Place Like Home - Abbey Community Drama project - 3rd May 2016 at 9:15am
NO PLACE LIKE HOME is a community drama project for adults living in Abbey. We meet every tuesday morning to create a performance about HOME which will be performed at Cambridge Junction and in Abbey, in July. There's still time to get involved, but hurry as we stop recruiting on May 14th! It's an excellent way to get involved, there's loads to do and it's great fun. The project is run by Patrick Morris of Menagerie Theatre Company, in association with Abbey People.
