Activities for youth & families

We have a range of youth clubs and family activities both during term time and in school holidays. 

We also work in partnership with Kings Hedges Family Support on the Abbey Together project which supports families from pre-natal all the way to the end of the teen years.

Youth Clubs

We run youth clubs for young people aged 8-18.

Our Junior & Senior Youth Clubs take place on Thursdays in term time, 5-6pm at Barnwell Baptist Church. Girls Group, for girls in school years 8-10 runs on Tuesdays at 4pm. 

Barnwell Baristas

Our coffee truck project provides Barista training young people in 1-1 and small groups. In addition, young people get food hygiene and customer service training as well as experience volunteering on our Coffee Truck at events. 

Abbey Together

Our partnership with Kings Hedges Family Support is funded by the National Lottery and provides help to families from pre-natal through to the end of the teen years. 

Frazzled Fridays (8:30 – 12pm, term time) is delivered with Cambridge Acorn Project and is a great place to come meet the team.
