At Abbey People we owe our success to our people. We are now looking for someone to help with the operation of the Food Hub.
The role will include overseeing the food hygiene and operational parts of the food hub activities, including deep cleaning, stock rotation, defrosting and cleaning fridges and freezers and following other key food hygiene processes. The ideal person for the job will be a someone with good communication skills and strong attention to detail. They will be working in a food environment following food hygiene and safety procedures. The ability to follow procedures is essential to the position.
The role is approximately 5 hours per week, probably including shifts on Monday mornings and Friday afternoons, but flexibility is possible once the post-holder is fully trained.
This is a temporary role until 31st March 2024 (with a hope to continue beyond that time).

Rate of pay – Real Living Wage £10.90 per hour
